Cold Hot Water Radiators

do not denote fear apparently. This is good! :)
Where are you located? Not all of the pros are listed (much to the chagrin of our gracious host perhaps) but others may be there and not listed. Let us know the metropolitan area and see what happens.
Now, I assume all radiators are cold? Could it be as simple as a pilot light? A service switch? Now, the last person to service it, what do they say? Check what you are confident checking, starting with the electrical switches, listen for a pilot light if any. Do not do anything you do not feel confident doing. (I am sure you are fine with this prattling of mine.)
Also (and I forget this myself), go around the house and at least drop the storm windows, close the fireplace damper and do what you can to tighten up the boat. And please, please, resist the temptation to use the oven as a space heater. You, your kids and cats will thank you.

Coincidence?
Three weeks ago I had a new company check/clean my gas gravity furnace and clean my chimney (no fireplaces). Three weeks ago it was warm. It's now cold and before I went to bed last night I turned up the thermostat, put more water into the system, bled the radiators and went to sleep. I awoke, cold. The temp was 58 degrees F. I'd swear the maintenance guy didn't leave the settings as he found them. I don't understand why the furnace would suddenly stop working (evidenced by cold radiators) when it supposedly has no moving parts. This could be punishment for hiring someone from a phone solicitation. Now that it's cold, all of the "Emergency One-Hour Service" businesses are booked through next week. Apparently, when many households have emergencies, all bets are off unless I'm willing to pay for a weekend call (minimum $238). And what's worse is that no one within 30 miles of my home (located in a major metropolitan area) are listed as professionals at this site. So, are there any suggestions? I have service coming sometime Saturday morning and would prefer not to sleep two more nights in a cold house. My kids and cats are not too keen on it either.

Cynthia, hello
Have you checked to see if the gas burner comes on when you turn up the t-stat ?can you post a picture of the face of the boiler??
