boiler question

We have a 300,000 BTU Weil-McLain steam boiler that heats most of our house. We have a 1989 Utica boiler (50,000 BTUs) that heats a 300 sq ft sunroom addition and our 40-gallon Amtrol (1992 model) hot water maker. The burner tube on the small boiler is going. Someone quoted us a NY Thermal Trinity boiler to heat the sunroom and hot water maker. Don't know much about that boiler. The price seemed reasonable, but I think I can get better value by replacing the smaller boiler with another one in the range of 125,000 BTUs. Or can I get a new hot water maker and run everything off the steam boiler. Any thoughts?

Sorry. It is natural gas. I may have the wrong terminology with burner tube, but I know the boiler is old and undersized and needs to be replaced.

    Heat loss??

Haveyou had a heat loss done on the sun room to determine what the load is??
Is the steam boiler properly sized to heat the house?
if the steam boiler is over sized you maybe able to run everything off the steam boiler, have you tried find a pro from this site? these guy would be able to make the system operate the way you want to......
