engineer speced out pvc venting & intake lines thru roof for minuteman h.w. boilers . is this kosher ? thanx, bob

PVC ................................NOT
Do not use PVC to vent the Minutemam. This boiler requires AL294C vent pipe only!!!!!! This boiler does not have efficiencies above 90% therefore it is a non-condensing boiler. Vent temp's too hot for PVC.0 -
Like Ron said.....
No PVC for venting flue gasses. It can be used for the Air Intake though.

THANKS MUCH GLENN & RON for the quick response. i figured as much but some hot shot engineer without a train had a better idea. might redesign & put units in bsmt where they belong. bob0
