Have three zones of baseboard heat with zone vales connected to them. Is there a way to meter them so that I can determine how much oil they use so I charge the tennents for that golden oil to recoup so money allong the the way.Few ideas lap counter in the 24 volt curcuit reads in minutes but how do I convert it in to amount of oil?If your a land lord you know where im coming from.

    Legally

at least here in Massachusetts, you have to measure BTU's (flow and delta-T over time). Apportionment alone by SF or assumed use is one thing if everyone agrees, but anyone can back out and the entire arrangement comes tumbling down.

BTU meters are key. I was a landlord. DO NOT rent to law students. Trust me.
