  • New Install

I’ve been promoting these sweet “boilers” for a while now but I had never installed one. As you can see, I’m an amateur compared to the beautiful installations I see as I travel around with you “True Pros” but it was fun to install.

There are three copperfin baseboard loops – circulators and an indirect.

I removed a 30 year old dry base “American Standard Oil boiler” and installed the Knight KBN-105. The first picture shows the difficulty in working around the old boiler while waiting for the “Gas Man” to install my propane tanks. The second pic is the finished install – less insulation.

    Looks damn

    good to me!

    Clean, straightforward design.

    You moonlightin' these days (;-o)

  • No moonlightin' - seemed a good idea to actually get a "hands on" so I might actually know what I'm talking about.

Who knows, I might get smart!

    Very Nice

These high efficiency European boilers are the way to go.

  • I'll be calling you soon - have a lot to tell you.

  • Yes! I had some posts left over from a chair carrier [WC] they seemed about right.

    Worked out pretty good.
  • nice install

Nice work. We have been installing several of these boilers with great results. Just finished up a 48 unit apartment building and we used 4 kbn 285's, the controls are great and they are running smoothe. Will post pictures soon.
