my attention that some contractors have called Wirsbo looking for free tubing due to some posts that they have seen here on the wall.

STOP CALLING WIRSBO FOR FREE TUBING!!! (I typed that real slow so everyone could read it)

Here's the deal....

About 3 years ago my business partner and I went out to Wirsbo for the training. One of our "after hours" trips included a trip to a Karaoke bar located in a bowling alley. (Makes sense to me)

Well as you would suspect, no-one wanted to jump up on stage and sing. (John and Wes were KICKIN'IT!)

John Barba grabbed a mic and said "5000' of 1/2" HePex to the first contractor that gets up here and sings!!!!"

I jumped up on stage and sang a song.

Ready for this??

I knew John was kidding! I NEVER expected one inch of free tubing from Wirsbo then and I do not expect anything from Wirsbo now!!! GOT IT???? NO FREE TUBING GUYS!!!!!!!(I typed that one slow too)

All of you that called Wirsbo looking for "free tubing" because I was "getting some",,,,,how about some free government cheese instead??? (Geezis!)

Darin and I will jab Mr. Barba about that. BUT IT IS JUST A FREEKIN'JOKE!!! CHEESE AND CRACKERS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

Wirsbo is a TOP NOTCH company and we use their products exclusively!!!!! GOT THAT?!?!?!?

I do NOT expect one GD inch of "free tubing" from Wirsbo and any of you that did are vultures. GOT THAT?!?!?!?

So in closing!

Wirsbo owes me NOTHING!!!!!!

They will send me NOTHING!!!!!!!

There used to be a company called Wirsbo, but they aren't any longer.

I think they changed their name. Uponor, maybe?

(Something about giving free tubing to a lousy singer, maybe a corporate Witness Protection Program?)

I wonder that John was kidding? Manufactures giving away product to contractors, on special occasions, is a big win for all, in my opinion.

You can always re-gift it to a good cause, Habitat projects, etc.

It's a nice thank you to a loyal customer, that has committed to attend and get the training, they will remember it for years, more so than a pad and pen.

The homeowner gets exposed to a name brand, and it is not a huge layout for a manufacture. Compared to a trip to Germany

If a contractor expects a freebie, sign up, and attend the training, meet some new friends with common interests, and spin the wheel or play the casino games. It's classic marketing and it works. Very well, as you can see by this post

I didn't think there was enough alcohol in Minnesota to get me to sing. Ha! I found out there was enough in that bar!

I also received a tremendous education from John & Wes (wirsbro).

Oh yeah and a vicious hangover. Performed at least 5 songs (poorly), you know an opening like "I'd like to dedicate this to all the ladies in the room" and "I wanna rock all night and party every day" Just a sample of the liquor fueled madness I subjected those unfortunate people to...
