Glenn,
An opportunity has come up to teach the hydronics class at The Stevens College of Technology next month & I am stoked! The real Prof tells me the students do not have copies of Burnham's Heating Helper booklet & I have lesson plans planned that center on info found within those pages of helpful wisdom. (I use the booklet almost every week in my work.)
Who should I contact about getting some copies? I'm teaching on the 5th & 6th of next month & they'll be going on a virtual digital real-world excursion to a complex with both steam and hot water boilers and hydro-air and heat pumps where comfort has suffered for far too long and fuel economy has been ignored. A CO incident occured there recently too - no combustion testing has ever been performed near as I can determine!
Then, if time permits, they'll time-warp to an 1870 hotel on the Gettysburg Pike where Union and Reb soldiers passed by a basement pub while outlooks watched from a widow's walk perched on top of the third floor roof. Just imagine being the bartender for those diverse groups! Radiant wants to live there (if the viewer is creative enough to "see" where it can reside) and, if I have my way, the five furnasties will get the boot in favor of hydronics!
Thanks,
Dave Yates
