Radiator at Boiler level
I have a radiator in the basement, the bottom 3/4 of it is level with the water level of the boiler. Needless to say this radiator doesn't heat well if at all. I replaced the air valve, but this leaks whenever the heat comes up. I have a one pipe gas fired steam heat system.
This radiator is mounted about 18 inchs above the floor with both inlet (feed) and outlet (return) pipes on the left side.
Short of repositioning the radiator 30" above the floor is there a way to rectify this?0 -
