Rinnai Direct Vent Heating Unit's

I am upgrading from Electric Radiant to gas heat. To limit the amount of work necessary for the upgrade, I've been investigating Direct Vent Heating units from Rinnai. Does anyone have experience with these units in relation to a 1500 s.f. home?

Rinnais
Have sold and install several up here in Alaska. Very easy to install and very few problems. Work well in high wind areas. With the seven step gas valves the unit runs most of the time at the lowewst firing rate with constant quite fan. Customer response is that their home has never been so comfortable. Have one at my Dad's home and he just can't say enough good things about them. Greig0 -
do yourself a favor
Just make sure to do yourself a favor and keep the filter's clean!! The biggest problem I usually run into has to do with cat and dog hair and we service alot of them..0 -
Will do an excellent job
If you go to www.ductlessheating.com there is a heat loss program which will assist you in selection. Post other questions once you do the heat loss. I've sold about 125,000 of them in New England since '91. And yes, keep the filters clean!0
