I have to take a state hvac test tomorrow and was hopping that I could get some clarification on a few questions.
Q: What is the primary cause of rust at the draft hood?
A: to many 90s or a blocked chimney?
A: Back drafting is an answer that I also came up with but this I do not under stand isnt the draft hood supposed to prevent this?
Q: what is the acceptable temperature rise for gas or an oil furnace?
A: I came up with several different ones but am betting on 45-70 degrees is this correct?
Well thanks in advance I appreciate the help

I will say
A blocked chimney is primary cause of rust, and a 70 degree rise for a gas or oil furnace is ok. J.Lockard0
