I was priming a pump toady after tune-up and it made a squilling noise before it picked up oil why does a pump make that kind of noise?

Pump
Probably because the pump is empty of oil and therefore has little lubrication. When it picks up the oil it quiets down due to the lubricating effect of the oil. Sounds good to me.0 -
put a tiger loop combo on it .and it will quit....

It's perfectly normal for a pump
to do that while open and under vacuum, don't do anything, forgitaboutit!0
