The
Ones I have seen look like they are home made.
Some conduit bent in to the shape needed and covered .
My wife and I made this trailer as a winter project a few years ago. Works well and measeures 5 x 10. four foot in height

Thats a neat looking trailer.0 -
Thanks.
They have been around since the 40's. It started life as a camper. But looked way to cool to put our name on it.
Try a web search for Teardrop Campers. You can buy prints online

Very cool
However the one I saw had a cloth cover and it curved from side to side like a covered wagon in an old western movie. WW

Just be careful
Back in the 70's my cousin got a pickup with a dump body and a cover like you describe from his father in law along with a small trash business. The problem was, every now and then some wise guy would shoot an arrow into the canvas. He didn't appreciate the holes but he would leave it there for a conversation piece.

Ha!
Thanks for the replys. I can see me now heading out Route 66 being pulled by my 3 dogs. The tractor trailer cover is the right shape but my trailer is only 4 x 8' I keep a tarp on it but when it rain it fills with water and becomes a problem. I thought a spring loaded ring could keep the tarp upright and water would not gain a place to pool. Also you wouldn't have to take the tarp completely off to put things in and out. I just saw it once. I think it would be easier to buy but not impossible to make. WW

Any tent and awning company
could build that for you. We have a great awning company in Springfield. They make all sorts of awnings, pool covers, etc. Many fabric choices and colors available.
