My son (turned 19 yesterday) just showed me how to display the delta sign.
Speaking of delta, how about those San Jose Sharks. They were down two games and now they are 2-2 against the Calgary Flames. Game 5 is tomorrow in San Jose.
What happened to your team, Robert Bean?
Edit: Oh, dear. It didn't show up as the delta sign when I clicked "post"; back to the drawing board. Has anybody else had better luck?

(I forgot the ; on this, it's a safer way to code this.)
try it and use preview to see if it works.
I read the follow up about cut and paste, but I'm just used to typing the code in.

Click on
start, programs, accessories, system tools and then character map, it will get you to a window that displays all the character fonts on your computer.
Not all of the fonts will have the Δ sign (I got this one off the "courier new" list); click on it, push the "select" button and then you can cut and paste to your applications.
As far as the "°" (degree) sign, Mike Thies sent me a memory resident program called "All Chars" that also gives me ½ and ¾.
