Humidification with steam heat system?

I have a 1927 one-line steam heat system. Boiler about 15 years old. Works great, but I am concerned about humidity in the house. Do steam heat system release any or enough steam to adequately humidify a home? Can different valves be used to enhance humidity, or should a separate system be used?

The heating system
has nothing to do with how dry or humid a house is.
Humidity levels are directly connected to air leakage.
If your home is too dry, you have too much air leakage.
Try to find someone to perform a blower door test on your home.
