I'm a retired electrical trouble shooter. I understand ohms law. Need a schematic on the switch. They told me only licensed technicians can have that info.

Are you talking about this water pressure sensor? A Rinnai part?

are you troubleshooting something on a specific piece of equipment or are you trying to use this part in a different application and need specific info? Generally for troubleshooting a piece of equipment you need to use the info from that manufacturer, I believe this is made as an OEM part for rinnai and possibly other manufacturers. Point being the exact spec of the part might not be the info you need to troubleshoot the equipment.

This came off from a Rinnai boiler. Getting a E07 error. Cking output with meter on ohms is 8.853K. Nothing on the input side. I believe it is bad.

According to the web the 07 is a problem with the heat exchanger temp sensor for rinnai? do you have a manual for your unit there? it's pretty easy to tell if the pressure sensor is bad, just verify the actual pressure in the unit and compare it to the pressure it shuts the unit down at. if the system is above that number and still shut down on low water the sensor is likely bad or detached. If you are getting the heat exchanger temp sensor fault its not this part

Looks like it may have a variable output. So depending on the pressure 0 to 4 bar (1 Bar = 14.5 PSI) the output would be 0.5 VDC to 3.5 VDC. The resistance of 8853 Ohms may be normal.

Also the internet says " Rinnai 443.068.40 2T85 Water Pressure Sensor 8 bar " Which may be a maximum safe pressure before damage occurs.
