I stopped by the CalNeva Lodge today while on business in North Lake Tahoe. I had to see the casino/hotel made famous by Sinatra's ownership and subsequent banishment because he let Sam Giancana party here, too. A lot of the character still exists and it is probably one of the few venues still standing that Sinatra partied in with the Rat Pack. The 'secret tunnel' is almost gone now but oh if those walls could speak! Can you say JFK and Marilyn Monroe?
