Refreshing change of pace at Oscars

After reading the nice comments about Matt's Mom, I thought back to the Academy Award acceptance speeches by the winners of Best Male and Best Female Actors in a leading role. Instead of bashing our government, other countries, or other people, the winners, Reese Witherspoon and Philip Seymour Hoffman, each praised their families and specifically their Moms for making them the people that they are. What a class act. Hollywood gets a two-thumbs up, at least for now, because of their comments.
