Cleaning/clearing a dry return

Is it possible/typical to clean or clear a dry return (main)
on a one pipe steam system? There are two mains on my
system...both well insulated and vented. One ALWAYS gets
steam much faster then the other. The one that is slow to
get steam is vented with two Gorton #2s. With all that venting it seems it would clear the air in not time. There are no appearant places where there is any sagging where condensate could collect.

I'm wondering if there is some old crud that is blocking the line. I just had the boiler replaced a couple of weeks ago and perhaps it's new faster steam stirred up some old sediment. The boiler has been skimmed three times since its installation.

I'm stumpped! Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    I shsould also say...

That if I shut off one of the radiators closer to the boiler, then the steam will move more quickly to shut
off the Gortons...but still the Hoffman side gets steam more
    quickly.???
