How do you organize?.........Cosmo

Every year around this time I wonder what I can do to improve my office. Currently I use Mocrosoft office to organize my job scheduling, tasks to do, etc. I also have a dryerase board and use a grid pattern to show everyone what jobs we have on schedule, and when it must get done. Quickbooks Customer Manager has been a big letdown for me. I cannot get it to work on my computer. It works fine on my laptop, which has all the same antivirus software, programs etc.
Are there any midpriced business software packages that anyone can wholeheartedly recommend? I am still only running a 3 man shop, and unfortunately I am one of them... of course I wear a lot of other hats in my business. Anyway, anyone who cares to share something?
Thanks,
