carries Weil Mclain in Anchorage 151 East 95th Ave. there are quite a few newer oil and gas boilers. Mechanical Sales in Anchorage may be of some help in getting boiler manuals for oil, K supply might be another place to get to know something about Slant Fin intrepids oil fired boilers ......Sandy might even know of someone who has time to walk you thru a set up with a riello beckett and carlin....Mechanical Sales has been instrumental in bringing alot of good people up to expound on the latest and greatest. Stop by Keller Supply and take a look at the MPO ,Buderus and Triangle Tube oil fired boilers...

This is a good place to get grounded in oil burners...Oil tech talk keeps after it always looking into leading edge and also long gone varieties of burners someone there will likely be able to help with.

Good Luck Plenty people will love to see you pull up to help them when its cold outside :) You'd think they just found the best friend in thier life *~/:)

    I need a education

on oil fired equipment. I have moved to Anchorage Ak and have never touched Oil. I am a wholesaler and hate not knowing my material, it looks like mostly Weil McLain eq.in the area I need a good training book or a willing installer to spend some time with. I have only been here for 3 months and have spent them learning the internals of a "new" system now I need to hit the books. Any help would be great. Merry Christmas

    Although the suggestions

you've been given are good ones, and thanks for the plug Tim, may I suggest the NORA OTM.

Of the books mentioned, including mine, it is more appropriate for a novice and is the best bang for the buck.

    OTM

    Happy Holidays to all!
