Wood boiler

We are in the process of installing one now. This boiler is the most impressive wood-fired boiler we have seen or installed. Really heavy, thick steel. Doesn't appear to be any shortcuts taken in manufacturing.

It comes in 3 sizes (100K, 200K, and 300K) and has large fireboxes. They recommend unsplit wood, which should be a plus if you are cutting, or possibly cheaper if you are buying the wood.

Will probably be starting it up sometime next week.

    I was

asked to install a wood boiler. Looked it up on the internet. Seems kinda cool. Has anyone installed or worked on a Greenwood wood fired boiler? They use a heat transfer fluid to transfer heat out of the boiler so they can raise the combustion temps so they can get more complete combustion and get higher efficiency. I'm like a fish attacted by the sparkle of a luring new gadget though. I wonder what the downsides if any could be. WW
