Diaphragm Compression Tank

I was just reading in B&G's web site that you have to set the pressure in the tank before you connect it to the system, and can't get an accurate reading while it's connected to the system as you will get a false reading. It should be disconnected from the system (small residential) when taking a reading. I'm "assuming" you should have a valve to isolate it from the system to disconnect it and check or adjust the pressure?

Better yet...
an isolation valve to isolate it from the system, and a drain cock between the isolation valve and the ET so you can take the tanks pressure to zero without having to remove it...
$10.00 worth of valves to avoid having to make a big mess.
