Denver Area Contractors

the homoaner from putting their own toxic soup in after the fact?

That's fine. The whole double walled DHW debate is a bunch of hooey any way.

What are the chances of a heat exchanger failing, AND a negative pressure in the city main occuring...

Slim to none, and Slim just got on a north bound freight train headed south....

To my friends in the Denver area- Denver has relaxed their long standing requirement of double wall heat exchangers. They are only required if you are using any chemicals or antifreeze in the heating system.

    What About

Aurora, Lakewood, Golden, Wheatridge, Arvada etc. Each has thier own little tax-er; scratch that; Building Dept. Remember how great the Uniform Code was going to be? No more confusion, and consistancy between all Code Authorities and Jurisdictions.

I think there are still a few areas that do require double wall but I am not sure where they are. Did you know that Wheatridge requires high efficiency equipment now. No 80%.
