Depending on how much detail you need

I recommend John Siegenthaler's book "Modern Hydronic Heating (2nd Edition)"

    http://store.hydronicpros.com

At $98 it may seem steep but even after being in the business for over 25 years, it is an excellent reference both as a refresher and for new ways of looking at things. Controls and piping are all covered with seeming equal enthusiasm. There are other books on his site too, some of which I will probably buy before the year is out.
    Hope this helps-
    Best,
    Brad

    Check out Robert Bean's website

At www.healthyheating.com for some generic schematics and drawings located at:

    http://www.healthyheating.com/Page 55/Page_55_a_TOC.htm

    http://www.healthyheating.com/Page 55/Page_55_p1_schematics.htm

    Worth a surf around.

    Geoff, piping schematics

on the ""www.healthyheating.com"" site are pretty neat. They provide "diagramaticaly functional" depictions of (piping)systems. This site however does not contain ordinary ELECTRICAL schematics of stock standard boiler heating control systems, i.e., thermostat, stack relay, burner, vaportrol, aquastat, lwco, etc. in a simple wiring diagram layout. I thought some manufacturer site would have this such as Becket but did not find any there. Alfred
