Question??? I built a superinsulated house with a simple radiant heating system. Here's my problem, at +30 deg. my house overheats do to convection of water heater. Water temp. is at 90deg. Will a zone valve hinder pump circulation.

You shoulld have 2 zones. One for the water tank and 1 for the house. Zone valves are good, but you have to zone both. If using 2 pumps, you will need flo-checks on both lines. I think you are getting flow thru your house zone when water tank calls.0 -
System is stand alone, I run a seperate water heater for DHW, I'm not crazy about open systems. Is there some way of stopping the convection flow other than a zone valve,and will it restrict the circulation, thanks in advance.0
