i worked on a BC/1 boiler today it been a while sence i worked on a steel boiler this one did not have any turbolator in it and i was wander if there needed the burner has a .75 h 60 deg nozzle on wayne burner i think my friend said it burned lot of fuel and the stack temp was way up there i did close down the air for better flame because it was burning hard i know it needs the comb test done on it the stack temp is a lot better we brushed the tubes new nozzle thank jeff

I assume you mean baffles in the tubes. Yes, they should be in there. It makes a big difference. And yes, you need to do a proper combustion test and adjust the unit properly.0
