Is there any steam heating system that can condense the steam generated from burning natural gas (which simply goes up the flue with other exhaust gases) and recycle it as makeup water?0

When natural gas burns, it generates a lot of steam (furnace steam). Since steam (boiler steam) due the boiler chamber leaking would get mixed with the furnace steam, detecting steam around the boiler may not be an indication of leaks. If the boiler has a crack that only widens enough when the furnace is on, the water leak would instantly turn into steam and mixed the furnace steam. Only way to tell is the amount of makeup water. But how does one track down the location of boiler steam leak?0
