The Wall has a powerful search engine that will go all the way back to 2002. Use "quotation marks" around multiple-word searches. RIGHT-CLICK on the results and choose Open Link In New Window so you'll be able to get back to your results. Happy searching!
In fairness to all, we don't discuss pricing on the Wall. Thanks for your cooperation.
I forgot to mention that when I say insurance--I am hoping for both general liability and worker's comp. I know they cost a fortune to have and make it much harder to be a small owner/operator. (We own a small business ourselves, so we know how we are crushed by insurance costs!)
I am a homeowner in Northern New Jersey who is in need of a boiler replacement for 1929 house that has a system with steam heat. When I bought the house a few years ago, the boiler was newish (2-3 years old)--but it died a premature death (at 7 years old), I now know, as a result of not being installed correctly, coupled by our mistakes. The various local contractors suggested by neighbors (one of whom installed it for the previous homeowner) do not follow most of the protocols outlines in Dan Holohan's books.
Do you know of anyone who you might recommend who might work in this neck of the woods and who has insurance for both himself and his assistants? Do you do steam in this area?
