The Wall has a powerful search engine that will go all the way back to 2002. Use "quotation marks" around multiple-word searches. RIGHT-CLICK on the results and choose Open Link In New Window so you'll be able to get back to your results. Happy searching!
In fairness to all, we don't discuss pricing on the Wall. Thanks for your cooperation.
Tim maybe you could drop in on the Phoenix light duty thread. Understanding the workings of an NG regulator, and what can make things quirky with negative pressure gas valves. Your knowledge would be helpful.
Hi Tim, I'm not sure if you'll see this, but I noticed you know a lot about converting oil boilers to gas--that is, replacing the burner without replacing the whole boiler. I have two oil-fired steam boilers that are in great shape, but I'd like them to burn gas. I'm having trouble finding a plumber that is willing to put in a conversion burner--they all want to replace the whole thing, which seems wasteful to me. I'm in Somerville, MA. Is there someone around here you know that does this work at a level that you did it? I want to find someone that cares to make stuff work right, not just throw away old stuff and install new stuff, you know? Thanks so much, have a nice day!
