pilot light going out

The pilot light keeps on going out on my Slint Fan Galaxy furnace. It new, installed just over a year ago, and I've had to relight the pilot 5 or 6 times in that time. This seems like a lot to me. The installer was reputable. I contacted him when it first happened and he didn't think it was an installation problem. Not sure if I should go back to him, get another company to inspect the whole system, or contact the manufacturer. Any advice would be appreciated.

call the pro back
give him a chance to figure out the issue, a call to slant fin tech support to see if this is a common issue wouldn't be a bad idea either...0 -
Thanks.

I assume this is a Slant Fin
Galaxy Boiler? Does it have a standing pilot or is it spark ignited? What Model is it a GG or a GXH?0 -
If it is spark ignition
go to RESOURCES above and click on it then LIBRARY look for TIM'S CLOSET and then go to TROUBLESHOOTING INTERMITTENT IGNITION SYSTEMS FOR FURNACES AND BOILERS.0
