Apologies and explanation

The site was still burping when I posted earlier.

Here's the deal: I was clearing some old files this morning and managed to hit some of

the wrong buttons, which caused the site to shut down. Rackspace has

restored everything back to 9 PM last night. The posts between then and

now were lost and I apologize for that.

I'm going to keep my hands in my pockets now.
Retired and loving it.

    Dan,

Why in the world would you touch anything on the back end of this website?

You're like 50 years too old for that.

Marianne, please take Dan for a walk.

    Just one of those days

I had a supply line to a tub and shower valve I was replacing decide to simple blow apart at the coupling that was installed 20 years or so ago as I was about to put in the new valve. The bathroom is on a third floor in the building over from the mechanical room with the main shut off valve in it. Tomorrow is another day, as  write I realize it is tomorrow I better get to bed.

thank goodness it was only that, and not the NSA hacking in to investigate our group here!

or retribution from one of the trolls you have kicked off the site!

when I saw the blank space after logging in, and expected the worst, I contemplated the great sadness of not having Heating-help to retreat to, after reading on the news of...

    insurrection

    invasion

    inanity

It's a real joy for us to have this resource which you have created--thank you so much--NBC
