in need of 6 short inshot burners.

recently bought a used doughnut fryer.. The previous owner had apparently removed the orifices and inshots to resize to LP..1/4 mpt #53 and the inshots need to be right at 3 inches long, The original owner is deceased,I bought it from his widow. The manufacture is out of business. DCA, rebadged  as bakers aide. 75,000 btu  There does not appear to have ever been anything up in there to support the burners so I ASSume they were snug onto the orifice..     Get hold of a

    commercial restaurant repair company who do commercial cooking products someone like Gas Consumers. They will tell you if anything is available. From my experience I do however think you may be out of luck.

    Does anyone know of a manufacturer that used a very stubby inshot burner? 2.5-3"

    You should not use burners

    that were not designed for the equipment. Burner design is a very critical part of proper operation of gas and oil systems. In some cases you could be developing a dangerous situation.
