aquastat setting

I have two aquastats. One maitains the maximum temp of the water in the furance the other wont let the thermostat in the living room turn on the ciculator pump unless the water temp in the furance it at a minumum temp. what should the second aquastat be set at?

    Belive its calle the delta t. It maintains a minumum returune temp of the water.

    What model number is the aquastat ?

    And is the boiler making hot water with a coil ?

    Its and old richardson hot water boiler. No coil. Sorry all I can tell you is they are Honywell aquastats. You can see them at the top of the middle picture. They dont have the covers on them.

    A minimum of 20* less on the B aquastat,in reality with that POS you don't even need it!

    dual setting aquastat

    hi is a boiler limit, set at 180, lo is to prevent condensation, set at 140. lo is preventing circulator from pumping constantly cold water trough the boiler. it allows to heat portion of the water at the time.
