Hybrid water heaters....

Which brand do you use, I haven't done many, since I have been waiting to see where the technology goes...



I have only used the ao smith models {havent used the Next yet} Voltex mainly



I am wondering if anyone has good luck with other units, I have a proposal due for 6 units in a multi family home, and would like to offer my customer the best available for their money...

    No thoughts on these units?

    Anyone have any experience with them, I seem to be getting a ton of calls on them since people are nitcing the $1100 of rebates they come with...

    i am familiar with rheem

    i installed 2 in the past couple yrs, they r the most popular ones that my suppliers sell if that says anything.

    Good for warm climates...

    The heat pump just takes heat from the room and puts it in the tank. If you are in a climate where you heat the space, you are not saving anything. In fact you are wasting energy in the transfer.

    In a warmer climate where you would be running AC to cool the air it makes a lot of sense.
