Look up at the top of the page to the new Conversion Factors link. It's on every page and I hope it helps you. Thanks.

  • Conversion Factors

Very handy.  I used it today to convert BTU's into horsepower.

I also wanted to use it in the kitchen, but couldn't find tablespoons to cups.
    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

    If you're using IE

The techies are fixing that. In the meantime, try right-clicking and dragging the rest down. Thanks, Mike.

  • What if

I want to convert bra size to BTU's.  I was taught they are directly proportional, but have no values for proper calculation.  Until now, only empirical data was available.

  • Clinical

(Hehe)  I'm trying to be clinical and scientific.  This is serious stuff.  Much goes on in the boiler room.
