waste oil heater

It's exactly the same. The burner uses a larger nozzle to pass the waste oil. I installed one about three years ago in an auto repair garage where they used the used oil to heat the garage indirectly. Good use of oil that's got to be picked up by someone that you have to pay to get rid of. Pretty smart investment for that application I'd say.

waste oil heater
I was asked last week to install a waste oil heater, since I have never installed one before my question is, how mush different is it from a regular oil (#2) fired unit heater?
This unit is a Lanair DHI-3000 -
Does the unit use an air assist? make provisions if it does
