Thanks Jim, pretty much what I thought. Just wanted a little confirmation.

    Expansion tanks

Is there any reason that you can not use more than one expansion tank on a hydronic system? Customer asked me and I just don't know the answer. I can't think of a good reason why not. As always, thanks in advance.

You can Install as many X-Tanks as you like. They just have to be installed at the same place in the boiler piping system. It is what we call the point of no pressure change. So one big tank or two smaller ones manifolded together the choice is yours. Best Wishes J.Lockard

you can make a header when doing so.....

bracket them all to the wall ,valve them off, with a boiler drain off the end of the header. i know it sounds like a cheap way to do things ...
