How many of you have quoted, installed, or even heard of the Biasi B10 series and SG series boilers? I am an Estimator for a Wholesaler, and have specified many of these boilers with great success. I was just wondering what those out of my market area have experienced(central Maine).

biasi....

is the mfg. of this low mass cast iron boiler that goes by other names. AKa ...Pensotti=, hearthstone, Vega (QHT), Neca. Good quality Although I would not use the direct vent application on the larger (5 sec. ) and up. kpc

Are they noisey. Oil fired Pensotti's are very loud.

Is it one boiler with different labels?

Saw them at the Naoshm show on Long Island

Pensotti(not), hearthstone(not), Vega-QHT(for a time), Neca(not). Biasi has nothing to do with Pensotti or Hearthstone or Necca. I will admit the evolution to the present Biasi offering has been a somewhat confusing trail, and I don,t know all the details, but the current Biasi is backed by a large, solid company known as Biasi. And it is very quiet, due to the chamber and 3-pass design.
The SG series is a return flame design, and is exceptionally quiet, as well as being thermally efficient.

block that other companies have been putting their names on.... same ratings, just a different jacket...if you don't think so look at each website and it will be pretty clear...kpc
