Our boiler is a work horse and has been well taken care of. But the igniter assembly has gone and the manufacturer says they no longer make the parts for the 1979 gas boiler model. Do we have any other options to find a part or have it made? Please help!

Is this a silicon carbide igniter? If so are there any numbers on the igniter? Igniters are still available for every unit that is out in the field so it can be replaced it is just a matter of getting correct numbers.
