Goodman blower motor won't start.

There is no air coming from the ducts in my house. The outdoor heat pump unit seems to be running correctly. I turned the heatpump off and put the fan in "on" and scrambled into the crawlspace to check it out. From what I can see the blower tries to start, spins for maybe a second, then stops. This cycle continually repeats. I can't see anything obviously wrong, the unit can't be more than two or three years old. The model number for the air handler is avptc313714aa. I have a newborn and really need this thing to blow cold again. I should still have parts warranty, and I reckon it's the blower motor that has gone but want another opinion before I start replacing parts on an almost new system.

Your air handler has a variable speed motor controlled by a system of electronic "languages" involving the thermostat and the controls in the air handler. Your parts are under a 10-year warranty. In your best interests, call your installer for diagnosis and solution.
