Finished Attic Heat Gain

Hello to all!
I need to figure out the heat gain for a room in a finished attic (R-11/dark roof). My understanding is that without a "proper" vented attic above, these rooms can get very hot. Manual J has "Roof-Ceiling Combination", but the HTM is less than "Ceiling under vented attic". Any help would be appreciated.
