I have several old radiator heaters that are marked National Radiator Company Johnstown Pa on them some are clean with no decorations on them and some are decorative. Anyone know what they are worth or if anyone is interested in buying them. I have small ones, tall ones, fat ones all kinds of sizes. They all work 100% and are still in my house which was built pre 1900. i have over 15 of these radiator heaters.
This is the number of tubes on some of the radiator heaters
some are
6,10,15,19,9,11,18 total tubes end to end
my email is
sbulge 1027 yahoo all one word for the first part so put them both together before adding yahoo to email me

What
"new system" are you considering?

im going with a better and more efficient heat
Radiator heat is dry heat and the house is all hardwood through out it. im going with something alot more efficient since i have natural gas lines in the house as well as the hot water lines all ready ran. either way these need to go they are to bulky and take up alot of room in the house for where they are located at. they dont put out the heat im used to with my old house which was blown heat. i dont like or care for dry heat such as these radiator heaters. I just dont care for them SO they are All Forsale0 -
Radiators are dry heat?
Actually, anything that raises the temperature lowers the relative humidity, so all of them, forced air, hydronic, steam, electric resistance, heat pumps, all provide dry heat to the same extent.
If you have a forced hot air system, you can include a humidifier in the system to raise the relative humidity. You can also install a bulk air filter and an electrostatic air filter to reduce the dust somewhat.
The forced hot air systems I have seen were probably dryer than any of the others because they all had undersized cold air returns, so the rooms were very likely over pressure, and some of the heated air undoubtedly leaked out. The cold air that infiltrated had to be heated up to the desired room temperature, so it was dryer that what was lost. Hot water and steam systems do not have this deficiency.0 -
Im selling all the radiator heaters in my house
Im not looking for reasons why not to sell them i just dont like them they take up alot of room in the house plus i have a 5 year old who has been burned by them from accidentally touching them. Make reasonable offer for 1 of them or all of them just want them GONE0 -
