Will the high efficiency condensing boilers work as pool heaters.

    I know the pool heaters have titanium heat exchangers and built in by-pass to eliminate condensing temperatures. StaRite, now owned by Pentair, but still marketed as a StaRite makes a great pool heater. We install them all the time. We generally install the biggest one, as everyone wants their pool to heat as fast as possible and it doesn't affect efficiency.

    Pool heater

    I designed and one of my contractors installed a Lochinvar Knight KBN500XL-M13 boiler with a Flat Plate marine grade stainless steel heat exchanger this week.
    The pool water,150,000 gallons in all were a toasty 87F when I left the jobsite yesterday.

    Pool Heat

    We have a number of jobs where a 200MBH Vitodens does DHW, Radiant Heat and Pool Heat via a tube and shell HX. Triangle makes great heat exchangers and they are available in Titanium.
