isn't to far off. President Nixon was not framed but neither was he involved with the break-in. He did participate in the cover-up and those missing 18 minutes sealed his fate.

He did many good things for this Country but he was wrong for doing what he did and paid the price.

One of those intriqueing questions is what would have happened had Mr. McGovern beat Mr. Nixon or had President Lincoln lost to Mr. Douglas or even would Mr. "Dewey Wins" have had the guts to end WWII the way "The buck stops here" Truman did.

We can not go back in time but hopefully enough people learn from history to not repeat the big blunders.
