    Hello to all

    Most might remember the time we had gone tru with my little girl Amanda, when she had the tomor in her head, with all the prayers and such that she recived, the doctors 4 years latter are still scratching there heads

    Guys i need you help again... she has been thru so much in her life and now, were back here again. she has develop serios lung problems and the doctors are not sure what is going on, they did a biopsy today, and while they were in there they founds some other things and are not sure what they are so they took a chunk of that too.

    My little girl called me on the phone in tears, it broke my heart... i packed up my tools and raced to the parking lot to hold her... She was in tears while we just hugged.

    She asked me..why Daddy...she said i prayed to God to stop all this i am going tru and he dose not hear me..

    i told her Amanda, he has given you miracles and is not done with you yet!, and that the pictures of your lungs we will put on the wall in a frame that says..This is what WAS....

    You all rallied to her side with prayers before and i need you all again..please pray for her...

    I'm so proud of you that you brought Amanda's story here to share once again. Yes, it is definitely o.k. to ask for help and to share both the good times and the tough times; it is a sign of maturity to share.

    Stuff happens because it happens, and it always seems to happen to people who really don't need it (one of the great mysteries of life, I think). What I've found is that how you folks who are directly involved react and respond is what matters; you are on the right track.

    I don't think that any of us can ever answer that big old question: "Why us?". Somewhere out in the metaphysical ether are some answers, but I don't have access as of yet; perhaps someday, I will.

    I wish you and your family all of my best and positive energy. Please tell Amanda that there are lots of people on her side and that she is really sweet. Best, Jack

    Putting time on your side

    Four years that must have both seemed like a blink of an eye and a whole eternity. And now it all comes to a crashing standstill. Clocks and calendars are inscrutable.

    We can work on boilers, we can pray for your daughter. I have taken to drinking Dr.Pepper (since it goes so good with steam) and every time I do, I think about you, David.

    as Dan always saya" hug your kids" and how true.My families prayers go out to you and your family and dear Amanda to give you all stength, faith and courage in this trying time. I have included St Patrick's prayer in this post, i hope it will bring you all some solace and peace of mind.     Last night after i posted i told Amanda, and showed her the post and said watch.. by the time i get home there will be a half a dozen replys...by morning there would twice that many, when i got home and we checked and there was over a dozen and twice that many by morning, last night she was in tears from your responce and it made her feel loved!!!

    She's 15, and has been battling health issues since she was 5 or 6, she has had sveral issues and has been strong tru it all ( my little JOB )not matter what she keeps her faith!

    The impotent rage and frustration is the hardest to deal with...we're daddies, we're s'posed to be able to fix things, or at least conjure up a passable explanation. Too often, we are forced to our knees admitting that we just do not understand and cannot fix it...and, maybe, that's not such a bad place to be...

    If God didn't answer, it's because He was crying too.

    You'll probably do what daddies all do...cry, hold her, cry some more, and then go back to work. But, take time to have a cup with a friend that will listen and hold you, and cry with you, and then go back to work too.

    Just breaks my heart to even think that any child has to go through this. I often ask God.... do this to me and spare the child. All of us would with out thought, would take our children's pain so they can be happy. We will pray for your family in your time of need.

    Just when you think things are as hard as they can be----

    Amanda was delt another blow, As she has gone thru all her ordeals she has had her horses, it helps her to deal with things, she loves ellie her horse, last week the horse got kicked in the legg and had to have surgry but minnor Amanda was up set but dealing with it

    There was a problem at the vets this morning and some how the horse totaly broke the legg and was put down,

    Amanda IS crushed! She call me intears and said Dad God has taken my health and now he has taken my horse!she has been in a depresstion since the horse got hurt, Now i am very worried about her mental health, My wife is ready to break and i'm tired,

    The pain that Amanda is going thru right now would knock down a full grown man, her faith is realy being tested.

    Please just keep her in your thoughts and prayers

    At times like this it seems words are not enough,but it`s all I have to offer for your little girl and your family.

    Please know that i`ll be keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers from now on.

    God knows this wall came through for me last year when my wife was sick.
